Ingredients:
Maida | 300gm |
Baking Soda | Half Teaspoon |
Baking Powder | 1 Teaspoon |
Salt | a pinch |
Egg | One |
Powdered Sugar | 1 Cup |
Vanilla Essence | 1 Teaspoon |
Curd | 1 Tablespoon |
Coconut Milk | 1 Tablespoon |
Oil | for frying |
Method:
- Mix all dry ingredients well, beat egg to thick froth.
- Add all liquid ingredients with the beaten egg and knead well.
- Refrigerate for 1 hr.
- Take out and make balls (size of a small orange).
- Flatten the balls with hands so that the balls turns to round shape of 1 cm thick and pierce the center with small bottle cap.
- Fry the donuts in medium heat oil till golden brown.
- Serve with sauce of desired flavor.
For Sauce:
Mix half cup of Coconut Milk with half teaspoon of corn flour, 5 drops of Vanila essence and 1 spoon of sugar. Boil till the sauce is thick. Cool and serve with donuts.
